11) Application of STEP 1 (Sanding)

We start the application exercise with STEP 1 sanding. We will learn by applying the BATUR3D POLISHING™ to the cube surface in order.

We will work on a 30x30mm cube print. Print features: 5 wall count, 0.16mm layer height, 20% grid infill, 5 top&bottom layers, black PLA. We will sequentially apply to a surface on this cube. The wall surface with the layer lines should be selected. It should not be a top or bottom layer.

With the application we will make on this cube surface, we will see how we apply the theoretical knowledge on the part. In every application, the instructions in the BATUR3D POLISHING™ Process Guide should be observed. The application working system is almost the same on every part. Only the selection of the tool changes according to the form of the part. The important thing is to learn the application steps correctly.

First, we will see how to apply BATUR3D POLISHING™ on 1 surface in order. We will learn how to perform each step one by one. Then we will apply the entire cube part, that is, 6 surfaces. In this way, we will learn how the workflow progresses to polish a piece from start to finish. After that, you can now be ready to polish your part. We will proceed with the workflow in the application we made on the cube. Only the tools you will use will change according to the forms on your part.
